The UK heatwave arrivedwith temperatures above 30C outside.

So, I put the new Midea PortaSplit portable split air conditioner to the test in the most challenging conservatory.

Unlike traditional portable air conditioners with large exhaust hoses, the PortaSplit uses a genuine split-system design with an external condenser unit, promising higher efficiency, quieter operation and much better cooling performance.

In this video I measure temperatures throughout the day, use a thermal imaging camera, compare it with conventional portable AC units, and see whether it really can cool most of the downstairs of my home.
