As Angelina Jolie continues to receive praise for her performance as renowned opera singer Maria Callas, the actress is filled with gratitude. Speaking with Access Hollywoods Emily Orozco at the premiere of Maria on Sept. 29 at the New York Film Festival, Angelina reacted to Oscar buzz. I'm so genuinely so happy. I know it sounds like people say this, but really, this was an experience of a lifetime. I learned to sing. I embodied a woman I respect. Despite earning an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, Angelina admitted that shes still in disbelief as singing was something she was nervous about. I was very, very shy about - not a lot in my life in as an artist - but that one singing... I was very insecure I remain a bit insecure, but I feel so lucky that I was able to have all these classes and learn and be trained and supported. Plus, the 49-year-old shared a message to one of her exes who she previously revealed criticized her voice, teasing, He knows who he is. Maria will release in select theaters on Nov. 27 and then on Netflix Dec. 11.
