It is with great sadness that we share the news of the demise of MURTAZA ABDULHUSSEIN MULJI (MUHORO) who passed away on Thursday 8th January 2026 in Mumbai, India. Marhum was the Son of: Late Abdulhussein Hassanali Mulji (Mulla Muhoro of Lindi) and Late Shirinbai Abdulhussein Mulji. Marhum was the Husband of: Sis Zainab Murtaza Mulji. Marhum was ths Brother of: Late Habib Abdulhussein Mulji (Muhoro), Late Fizzabai Akberali Kassam Bhimji, Late Fatmabai Gulam Dharsee, Late Zainabbai Kassamali Hussein Dewji, Late Gulamabbas Abdulhussein Mulji Manekia (Muhoro), Late Batul Abdulhussein Mulji (Muhoro), and Sis Gulzar Riyaz Hirji. Marhum was the Father of: Br. Shabbir Murtaza Mulji, Sis Shehnaz Naushad Manji and Sis Shirin ShaneAbbas Jessa. Marhum was the Father in Law of: Sis Kaniz Fatema Mulji, Br. Naushad Mohamed Manji and Br. Shaneabbas Roshanali Jessa. Marhum was the Grandfather of: Sis Sakina Naushad Manji, Sis Zahra Shabbir Murtaza, Br. Aliasgher Naushad Manji, Br. Mohsinali Shabbir Murtaza, Br. Muhammad Shaneabbas Jessa, Br. Ali Shaneabbas Jessa, and Br. Husayn Shaneabbas Jessa. Marhum was the Brother in law of: Br. Mohamed Juma (London), Br. Mustafa Juma (London), Br. Murtaza Juma (DSM), Sis Batul Abbas Sachoo (DSM), Sis Tahera Salim Mawji (Mwanza) and Late Sabira Razahussein Kermali (DSM). Marhum will be buried on: Date: Monday, 12th January 2026 Time: After Maghrib / Isha Prayers (7.30 PM) Venue: KSIJ Imambargah, Dsm, Tz. May Allah (SWT) bless the departed soul amongst His chosen ones and grant the family patience to bear this loss - Ameen.
